Stenhouse Publishing is a division of Highlights, Inc. They publish books about teaching, written by teachers.
We have been photographing for Stenhouse since 2008, working in schools in New England and New York, where we photograph students, teachers and authors both individually and in groups. We have carte blanche to discover and create as many different photos as the situations present. This gallery shows photos from a variety of those schools.

Through Eric Mower and Associates, we were hired for an ad campaign depicting people of various ages involved in healthy activities. The idea was to work with "next door neighbor" type subjects, so none of our models were hired through agencies. Over a series of days and in various locations, we photographed families, couples, and seniors engaged in a variety of activities including biking, hiking, visiting museums, playing cards, and doing yoga. The photos were used in black and white in ads and information packets.

We photographed performances, rehearsals, and events for Eastman since the the early '90s, including orchestra performances in Kodak Theatre, master classes by visiting musical dignitaries, graduations, class reunions, and their regularly scheduled operas. In the early days, we used black and white film. Later, we moved on to color film, and since 2003, we were digital. We hold the archive of images from all operas during that time . Our library of their performances is quite impressive!
